Introduction
'If, like me, you have ever wondered whether it is worth giving to charities when you read in the press about missing supplies, misdirected aid budgets and the squandering of well-intentioned donations then look to AfriKids and reconsider.'
- Iain Maronge, AfriKids donor and volunteer 2005

AfriKids Annual Report
As winners of the Third Sector Excellence Award for Accountability and Transparency, AfriKids offers a unique experience for its regular givers, which through its very personal feedback will leave you in no doubt as to the enormous difference your contribution is making.
Regular gifts to AfriKids help guarantee a stable income to ensure that vital project work in Ghana is sustained. All donations, whether large or small, are gratefully received and contribute enormously to the success of the projects.
AfriKids is working towards doing itself out of business in the UK, by empowering AfriKids Ghana to fund its own work through local business and international trade. This means we won't need regular givers forever, but at the moment whilst we work to establish these businesses it is regular givers who keep our projects running day to day and their donations have a greater impact than ever.
Find out more about our various projects.
As a regular giver we will ensure that you receive regular feedback; we will send you regular copies of our newsletter, updating you on the latest AfriKids developments both here in the UK and in Ghana, our Annual Report once per year and you can also log onto our website whenever you like to read our latest news, project updates and lots more!
If you have a UK bank account setting up a standing order is one the simplest way to give. Simply download and print the standing order form using the link below, complete the form and return it to us by post to the address on the form; we will take care of the rest! Your donation will be taken from your account as you have specified on your form.
Alternatively, if you are paid through the PAYE system, you may be able to give directly through your payroll. Payroll Giving is a scheme that enables employees to give to any UK charity straight from their gross salary (before tax is deducted), and to receive immediate tax relief of up to £4 for every £10 donated. The system is easy to opt in and out of, giving you full control over your giving. Contact your HR department to find out if your organisation is part of the Payroll Giving Scheme. If they aren't its simple and easy for organisations to join, and there are many benefits for them too.
If you don't have a UK bank account, and cannot give via your payroll, you can still donate on a regular basis either by sending a cheque payable to 'AfriKids' monthly, quarterly or annually, or by making regular payments via direct bank transfer or JustGiving which can be accessed above. You can also set up a charity account with the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), they claim the tax back on the money you put in so you have more money to give to charity.
