Lena Naaso is a native of Ko – Bukong, a village in the Nandom district of the Upper West Region of Ghana. Lena is married and lives in Bolgatanga with her family.
Lena joined AfriKids in December 2008 as Administrative Officer and Personal Assistant to the Country Director of AfriKids Ghana. Presently she is the Internal Affairs/Charity Human Resource Manager (thus works closely with all staff), doubling as Personal Assistant to the Country Director. Her role involves everything administrative including drafting letters, coordinating reports, and serving as a secretary to the AfriKids Ghana Board. Lena is also in charge of AfriKids Charity personnel issues, while managing the educational and health funds.
Prior to joining AfriKids, Lena worked with Ghana Cotton Company Limited and Education Quality for All (EQUALL) Project as an Administrative Officer. Lena has a Higher National Diploma in Secretaryship and Management Studies and is currently pursuing a Degree in Business Management Studies at the University of Cape Coast.
